Eagle’s foundation began with a shared effort in recycling “old corrugated containers” – OCC. Eagle Recycling is extremely efficient in procuring, processing, and marketing OCC. OCC represents a less volatile commodity in the recycling mix. Cardboard demand remains stable – secondary markets for OCC support sustainable recycling programs.
Eagle has made significant capital investments to support the collection and processing of OCC. We leverage our facility size, equipment, and economies of scale to subsidize our clients’ cost associated with recycling OCC.
Eagle tailors OCC recycling programs specific to our customers’ needs. We have all the necessary assets to provide an efficient collection service of OCC. The collection of recyclables is the most costly component of the recycling process. Through integration, we are able to hedge the high costs associated with the collection of recyclables.

OCC Collection Assets
- 53′ Dry Van Trailers– Eagle can schedule live loads for customers who need to purge their facility. Also, Eagle can drop and dedicate trailers to customers who wish to conserve operational space.
- Roll-offs– Eagle can provide open top and concealed roll-off containers – depending on the customers’ need.
- Balers– Eagle can finance and provide balers for customers who have the volume and space to support a baler installation.
OCC Drop-off
Eagle Recycling supports hauling and collection companies who partner with us in their recycling efforts. We work indirectly with numerous organizations throughout Delmarva because of our relationships with hauling and collection companies.
