Single Stream Recycling is a method of collecting recyclable materials where all cardboard and paper fibers, plastics, metals, and other containers are mixed together in a single collection truck, instead of being sorted by the generator prior to collection.
This streamlined approach makes the recycling process simpler from a consumer perspective, as they don’t have to manually sort and separate their recyclable waste.
The mixed recycling is transported to Eagle where it is then sorted into distinct categories such as cardboard, paper, plastics, metals, etc., using a combination of manpower and automated processes (separators, screens, etc.).
The main advantage of Single Stream Recycling is that it tends to increase the volume of recyclable materials collected due to its ease and convenience
We are dedicated to helping municipalities, businesses, and haulers throughout Delmarva divert recyclable materials from our local landfills.
